About the Role
The role involves leading the Field Services department, ensuring safety compliance, effective scheduling, report management, and providing technical support to projects and managers. The manager will supervise staff, oversee daily operations with financial responsibility, address training needs, coordinate staffing, and drive business development initiatives. • Calibrate field equipment, maintain inventory, and ensure proper PPE usage on project sites. • Manage field services schedules, track request fulfillment, and conduct daily and senior-level report reviews. • Assist staff in issue resolution and regularly support project managers and the department manager. • Attend site meetings to provide technical resolutions as needed. • Supervise, mentor, and develop field services personnel while monitoring financial performance. • Identify training gaps, coordinate with recruiting for staffing, and oversee CMT projects and proposal preparation. • Lead marketing and business development efforts for the field services group. • Maintain required basic certifications; advanced certifications may be required based on duties.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of relevant experience, required certifications, the ability to lift 85 lb, and strong knowledge of construction materials testing and communication skills. • Hold a high school diploma/GED plus 5+ years of experience in laboratory testing, construction observation, field QA, site grading, and CMT supervision. • Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds. • Demonstrate expert understanding of ASTM testing standards and construction materials evaluation techniques. • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication abilities and effective teamwork.
