About the Role
The Service Technician role is responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently, accurately, and on time. Technicians will provide safe, efficient service by repairing compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices, performing general repair on HVAC/R equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, testing components, maintaining accurate work records, processing job tickets, handling case logistics, supporting minor construction and new installations, and operating company vehicles responsibly. • Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and controls • Perform general repair on HVAC/R equipment safely and timely • Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment issues • Test malfunctioning systems using electrical and mechanical skills • Maintain accurate corporate and personal work records • Process job tickets and work orders promptly • Handle picking up, delivering, and installing cases • Assist with minor construction and startup of new installations • Drive company vehicle safely

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, possess EPA certification, and ideally have vocational or trade school credentials. A minimum of three to four years of commercial refrigeration experience is required, preferably with work in convenience stores or supermarkets, familiarity with single and rack systems, a clean driving record, on‑call availability, and the ability to lift 60 lb and stand or sit for extended periods. • High school diploma or GED required • EPA certification mandatory • 3‑4 years commercial refrigeration experience • Experience in convenience stores or supermarkets preferred • Familiarity with single and rack refrigeration systems • Clean driving record and ability to work independently • On‑call emergency availability required • Ability to lift up to 60 lb and stand/sit for long periods
