About the Role

The primary purpose of the position is to perform advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving in support of nuclear plant operations, act as a technical resource and expert, and make informed technical decisions while applying detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations. Key responsibilities include developing, managing, and implementing engineering analyses and programs; serving as a subject‑matter expert to resolve equipment and system issues; leading short‑term and long‑term projects that affect site operations; ensuring accurate, complete, and timely work with proper configuration management; conducting independent research and analyses; recommending equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce cost, and comply with evolving codes; and providing support for emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities.
