About the Role

KBR is hiring a Space Program Element Monitor / Space Capability Analyst to provide on‑site support to Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (HQ STARCOM) in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on requirements management for space mission areas and requires strong experience with space programs and a security clearance. The analyst will support STARCOM’s Requirements Management Corporate Process (RMCP), validate that requirements trace back to strategic guidance, and translate them into material, non‑material and resourcing decisions for the Program Objective Memorandum, Operational Order, and Unfunded Requirements cycles. Responsibilities also include receiving and managing space mission requirement submissions, maintaining RMCP data across multiple databases, developing training programs, tracking technical and programmatic risk, and briefing senior leadership. • Support STARCOM Requirements Management Corporate Process (RMCP) and ensure requirement traceability. • Translate validated requirements into material, non‑material, and resourcing decisions for POM, OPORD, and UFR cycles. • Manage space mission requirement submissions and maintain data across multiple RMCP databases. • Develop and deliver RMCP training programs and classes. • Track technical and programmatic risks, cost, schedule, and performance of STARCOM programs. • Brief senior leadership and coordinate with HQ STARCOM, Field Commands, and other headquarters organizations.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance, be a U.S. citizen, and possess a BA/BS degree (or five years of relevant experience). Required experience includes working in US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, SpOC, STARCOM, or equivalent headquarters environments, as well as familiarity with DoD weapon systems, requirements definition and traceability, and strong communication skills. Desired knowledge of fiscal tools such as ABIDES, CCaRS, FM Suite, CRIS, and DEAMS is a plus. • Travel up to 20% for limited customer events. • Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. citizen required). • BA/BS degree or 5+ years relevant experience; headquarters experience in USSF, USAF, Combatant Command, SpOC, or STARCOM. • Experience with DoD weapon systems, requirements definition, validation, and traceability. • Strong oral and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work in a secure SCIF environment and multitask in a high‑tempo setting. • Desired familiarity with ABIDES, CCaRS, FM Suite, CRIS, and DEAMS fiscal tools.

Compensation ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 for Colorado, with potential bonuses, sign‑on, relocation, and incentive payments.
