About the Role

In this role you will work with public and private sector clients on complex organisational challenges that underpin their future ambitions. You will plan, lead and deliver strategy‑led change and transformation initiatives, often in ambiguous environments, while managing cultural and hierarchical stakeholder relationships and staying connected to on‑the‑ground delivery. • Shape clients’ change and transformation plans aligned with business cases and organisational objectives. • Lead day‑to‑day advisory work, managing delivery, priorities and senior stakeholder relationships. • Apply strategic analysis to complex, ambiguous problems and present persuasive alternatives. • Challenge assumptions and develop credible options to support better decision‑making. • Collaborate with delivery teams across the UK, UAE and USA. • Build relationships with internal AECOM disciplines such as Programme Management, Economics, Strategic Procurement, engineering, architecture and master planning. • Advising executive leadership, facilitating workshops and producing high‑quality outputs. • Work on client sites in the UK and UAE as required. • Mentor and develop junior team members to strengthen transformation capability.

The ideal candidate has experience working with public‑sector clients and exposure to private‑sector environments, a track record of building trusted relationships in multi‑partner settings, and expertise in designing, delivering and tracking behavioural change initiatives. A solid understanding of business strategy, governance, capability mapping, capital programme delivery and operating model design is required, along with strong facilitation, communication and leadership abilities. • Experience with public‑sector clients and exposure to private‑sector environments. • Proven ability to build trusted relationships in complex, multi‑partner stakeholder settings. • Design, deliver and track behavioural change and transformation initiatives; familiarity with culture, branding and marketing is a plus. • Understanding of business strategy, governance, capability mapping, capital programme delivery and operating model design. • Strong facilitation skills across seniority levels, delivering clear conclusions and action‑oriented outcomes. • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations and briefings. • Ability to collaborate and lead teams in fast‑paced, creative environments. • Judgement and empathy to support clients through challenging change journeys.
