About the Role
The Assembler I will build sub‑assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS). The role follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to construct these units and conducts visual inspections of material before and after assembly. Various fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools are used to assemble, adjust, or repair the product. Completed assemblies are inspected to ensure compliance with Raleigh Plant Quality standards, and adjustments are made when required to meet quality goals. The assembler adheres to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations while providing process and safety improvement ideas. Machines and tools are kept properly calibrated, and housekeeping duties are performed using the principles of 5S+. • Build sub‑assemblies and full assemblies for UPS wiring following SOPs. • Perform visual inspections of materials before and after assembly. • Use fixtures, gauges, hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products. • Inspect completed assemblies for compliance with quality standards and make adjustments. • Follow environmental, health, and safety regulations and suggest process improvements. • Calibrate machines and tools; maintain 5S+ housekeeping practices. • Read and interpret standard operating procedures.

What You Bring
A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required. Relocation assistance is not available, and only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of the plant are considered, except for active‑duty military members who are exempt from this limitation. Candidates must demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment and be able to read and interpret SOPs. The position requires the ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, and flexibility to shift to different areas or local plants as needed. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lb, distinguishing colored wiring, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting. • Meet education requirement: High School Diploma or GED. • Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures. • Work overtime, weekend shifts, and be flexible to different plants/areas. • Lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive lifting, bending, squatting. • Distinguish colored wiring.
