About the Role

In this position you will move supplies, materials and equipment between receiving, the warehouse and manufacturing areas of the plant. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to use SAP Warehouse Management System for tracking material movements. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, overhead cranes and other dock equipment while maintaining accurate records. The role also includes routine preventive maintenance checks on handling equipment and conducting inventories or cycle counts as directed. • Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on incoming material and equipment. • Monitor material queues, report discrepancies, and flag defective conditions. • Safely transport materials between dock, warehouse, and manufacturing areas while recording moves in SAP WMS. • Conduct yard inventory, dock audits, and cycle counts as directed. • Perform preventive maintenance checks on handling equipment (horn, tires, lights, forks, frame). • Operate forklift and overhead crane to load and unload trucks. • Maintain alertness and follow safety protocols when operating material handling equipment. • Organize work, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. • Use standard computer and scanner equipment; work with SAP system for material movements. • Operate dock equipment, forklift, and pallet jacks safely.

What You Bring

The job requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lb, constant standing, walking, bending and reaching, as well as occasional climbing, crawling and climbing. Workers must follow all safety rules, wear appropriate protective equipment, and have corrected vision of 20/20.
