About the Role
In this role you will be part of a small team operating the hospital repairs helpdesk, handling calls from clients, contractors and operational staff, entering repair requests and generating reports. You will liaise closely with engineers and contractors, allocate work, store documentation and respond to maintenance queries by phone and email, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met. • Monitor outstanding repair calls within the helpdesk. • Take calls from the general public seeking guidance on hospital appointments. • Plan daily work schedules for site engineers. • Ensure effective communication between the operational team and the client. • Order materials required by engineers, liaising with suppliers and contractors. • Provide additional administration and support to team members and managers. • Assist in compiling reports, monitoring compliance and escalating concerns.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will have prior customer service or helpdesk experience, ideally within a maintenance environment, though this is not essential. Excellent telephone and written communication skills, a can‑do attitude, teamwork orientation, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
