About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work both independently and collaboratively to meet production targets on the line while ensuring the safe, controlled movement of parts and strict adherence to health and safety procedures. Key responsibilities include interpreting technical plans, measuring and testing cuts and joins with precision instruments, meeting set production targets, and contributing to continuous‑improvement initiatives as part of a team. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and welding symbols. • Inspect and test cuts and joins using precision measuring instruments. • Meet production targets while adhering to health and safety standards. • Work independently and as part of a team to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

Applicants should demonstrate the ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols, have experience with MIG mild‑steel welding (preferably in heavy engineering), possess NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, and be familiar with basic 3D CAD drawings and fabrication jigs. Strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, and a "can‑do" attitude are essential. • Demonstrated ability in MIG mild‑steel welding (heavy engineering preferred) and NVQ Level 2 qualification. • Experience with basic 3D CAD drawings and use of jigs in fabrication. • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills with a "can‑do" attitude.
