About the Role

The role involves assisting the NYSDOT Project Manager with JTMC contracts and budgets, supporting the Operations Manager with calls and visitor coordination, and performing administrative tasks for the 24/7 JTMC traffic operations. Key duties include managing contract-related records, using software such as Excel and word processing, preparing memoranda and engineering reports, reviewing outgoing correspondence for accuracy, handling telephone inquiries, maintaining office inventory, scheduling calendars and conference rooms, taking meeting minutes, organizing files, and recommending procedural improvements. • Administer JTMC contracts and assist with annual budget preparation. • Answer phones, greet visitors, and handle filing and reporting tasks. • Maintain contract correspondence records and manage office inventory. • Prepare memoranda, engineering reports, graphics, and review outgoing communications. • Schedule calendars, conference rooms, and take meeting minutes. • Recommend and implement office procedure improvements. • Follow ethical standards and WSP’s Code of Conduct.
