What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 4–8 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in the medical domain. Candidates must be proficient in 3D CAD modeling with SolidWorks and Creo, as well as engineering analysis tools, and be comfortable using Microsoft Office and MS Project. • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant design and development experience (medical device experience a plus) • Proficient with SolidWorks, Creo, and Microsoft Office suite • Knowledge of parametric modeling, GD&T, and tolerance analysis; SolidWorks preferred • Familiarity with Six Sigma DFSS techniques • Experience designing and qualifying injection‑molded parts • Experience with DFX (Design for X) methodologies • Knowledge of Mathcad, LabVIEW, or other modeling tools • Understanding of DFMEA, PFMEA, and other risk‑management tools • Experience with DOE, statistical analysis, and Minitab (preferred) • Hands‑on experience with Windchill PDLM tool • Ability to select suitable materials and create an EBOM • Knowledge of ISO 13485 (preferred) • Disciplined team worker with ability to work independently • Strong presentation and persuasion skills for project teams • Excellent communication and project management abilities • Quality‑focused mindset in design and documentation
