About the Role

As a Plant Maintenance Technician you will play a critical role in keeping the recycling plant operating at peak performance. You’ll maintain and repair a wide range of equipment—including balers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and material handling machinery—ensuring safe and efficient operations. • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, repair and rebuild equipment such as balers, conveyors, hydraulic packs, motors, pumps, forklifts, etc. • Maintain daily equipment inspection backlog • Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and report delays to senior manager • Inspect third‑party repairs and recommend improvements for performance and quality • Respond to emergency breakdowns and work with limited supervision • Keep work area clean and compliant with OSHA and WM safety rules

What You Bring

• Stable Monday‑Friday afternoon shift (3:30 pm‑12:00 am) with overtime as needed • Multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently and be flexible for nights/weekends • Minimum 2 years relevant experience • At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to meet physical demands (lifting >50 lb, climbing ladders, standing on concrete, exposure to noise and weather) • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Enjoys variety and solving problems
