About the Role
The Assistant Resident Engineer will oversee specific infrastructure and enabling works construction packages as part of a new residential development. • Lead project and construction management, coordinating with other engineering disciplines throughout design and supervision phases • Liaise with contractors, clients, and client project managers • Review and implement feasibility studies and interface drawings, ensuring alignment with project and structural requirements • Deliver timely, reliable project solutions • Ensure works are constructed in accordance with contract requirements • Review contractor submissions and respond to requests for information • Monitor site safety procedures, report contractor safety performance, and raise non‑conformance reports as needed • Oversee contractor quality procedures and raise non‑conformance reports when required • Maintain and enhance Mott MacDonald’s reputation with the client and develop long‑term client relationships

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from an accredited university • Be a member of a professional engineering registration; project management institute accreditation is advantageous • Possess experience on large infrastructure projects, including health, safety, and environmental protection aspects
