About the Role

The incumbent will promote the JCI value proposition to executive decision‑makers, build and manage long‑term relationships with building owners, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include executing the sales process to qualify and close new guaranteed‑savings opportunities, positioning renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed accounts, and leveraging monthly checkpoints to gain progressive commitments. Sales activities are performed with minimal supervision, persuasively presenting JCI offerings to C‑level owners and representatives while maximizing profit and share of the customer’s business. The role emphasizes performance contracting, renews and expands multi‑year renewable service agreements, and demonstrates financial and business acumen to earn credibility, loyalty and trust. The Account Executive will coordinate cross‑functional support—including construction management, energy engineering, financial and legal resources—to develop and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals using tools such as Salesforce and account plans. Additionally, the individual will lead internal sales teams, act as the customer’s advocate within JCI, ensure proper training and project inspection, and contribute to regional sales and marketing strategies. • Sell large, complex bundled energy solutions and performance contracts to C‑level decision makers. • Build and manage long‑term relationships with building owners and key stakeholders. • Drive renewable service agreements and guaranteed‑savings opportunities across accounts. • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting proposals, negotiating and closing deals. • Utilize Salesforce, account plans and sales checkpoints to track progress and secure commitments. • Coordinate cross‑functional support (engineering, construction, finance, legal) to deliver value. • Mentor and lead internal sales teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. • Travel up to 50% to meet customers and attend industry events.
