About the Role
The Account Manager role is responsible for managing relationships with commercial and industrial customers in theField Service Territory of NSPM southeast (Winona, Red Wing, Wabasha). The goal is to drive high customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective account‑management strategies, collaborative planning, and delivery of demand‑side management programs. • Develop and implement account management strategies, including territory management, customer prioritization, key decision‑maker identification, collaborative planning, and demand‑side program delivery. • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, operations, rates, and product or service information. • Lead projects that set direction for energy products and services. • Negotiate, prepare, and execute contracts for energy services, financing, equipment leasing, and special agreements. • Support local sales and account activities such as trade‑ally meetings, consumer demonstrations, employee meetings, and promotions. • Maintain memberships and actively participate in professional and community associations.

What You Bring
• Require BA/BS degree in a technical or business field or equivalent experience, with 3–5 years of proven sales/marketing results. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. • Preferred: Certified Energy Manager certification and prior energy‑efficiency experience.
