About the Role
As a Site Safety Specialist, you will promote a safe and healthy work environment, advance environmental health and safety systems, and ensure regulatory compliance across construction sites. You will collaborate with project‑level leads, report to the Senior Safety & Risk Manager, and work on construction sites throughout California and Nevada. • Perform safety assessments and inspections to verify compliance with contractual, legal, and site‑specific EHS requirements. • Develop, update, and implement environmental, safety, and security policies and procedures. • Identify opportunities to eliminate injuries, accidents, and health hazards and drive continuous improvement. • Assist the Safety & Risk Manager in creating Method of Procedure (MOP) and critical activity plans. • Investigate incidents such as injuries, vehicle accidents, spills, theft, and property damage, producing root‑cause analyses and reports. • Deliver safety and compliance training to supervisors and field personnel. • Act as a competent person to stop unsafe work and ensure safe conditions before work resumes. • Document site visits, activities, and incidents in comprehensive written reports.

What You Bring
The role requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lb, climbing, balancing, and the ability to communicate clearly while working in confined spaces. • Hold at least three years of construction safety experience and possess an OSHA 500, ASP, or Graduate Safety Professional certification. • Maintain a current OSHA 30 construction certificate and valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. • Be a certified competent person for electrical safety (NFPA 70E), excavation, fall protection, and confined spaces. • Demonstrate strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and possess solid analytical and leadership abilities.

Benefits
