About the Role

In this role you will build and lead a world‑class engineering team that creates AI‑driven visualization features such as photorealistic image generation, intelligent material authoring, and scene creation. You will shape how millions of users see and refine their designs, making professional‑quality visualization accessible and instantaneous while combining deep expertise in AI/ML, graphics, and product leadership. • Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI‑powered visualization, aligning with product management and UX priorities. • Recruit, hire, and develop a high‑performing engineering team while establishing agile practices and engineering standards. • Mentor engineers across all career levels and foster a culture of technical excellence and psychological safety. • Ship production‑grade AI features across the rendering stack, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability on multiple OS and cloud platforms. • Drive architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable systems and integrate them with Fusion’s existing rendering infrastructure. • Establish telemetry, observability, monitoring, and guardrails for data privacy, responsible AI, and ethical model usage.

What You Bring

Autodesk Fusion 360 is an all‑in‑one design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing platform that unifies 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB in a cloud‑based environment. The software enables customers to connect their entire product development process and we are embedding cutting‑edge AI directly into Fusion’s visualization capabilities. • 8+ years developing complex software systems and 2+ years leading teams that deliver customer‑facing features. • Deep technical expertise in C++ and Python. • Proven experience with AI/automation for visualization, including model training, fine‑tuning, and deployment for image generation, texture synthesis, lighting estimation, etc. • Experience building data curation pipelines and A/B testing frameworks for ML features. • Strong product sense with ability to translate customer problems into measurable technical solutions. • Experience with agile delivery, sprint planning, and stakeholder communication. • Effective communication of complex technical concepts to product, design, research, and executive audiences. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine learning, graphics/visualization, or equivalent experience. • Experience developing AI‑powered workflows (prompt design, guardrails, evaluation) and integrating AI into complex desktop or cloud products. • CAD software experience is a plus.
