About the Role

In this role you will install fire sprinkler pipework systems in large industrial buildings and fit plant items such as fire pumps, valves, and pumphouse piping. Responsibilities also include preventive maintenance of fire pumps and sprinkler alarm valves, troubleshooting on‑site issues, and working with carbon steel, ductile iron, and PVC pipework. You will provide the highest level of service to the construction management team while actively promoting health and safety. • Zero‑Harm safety policy guiding all activities • Install fire sprinkler pipework systems in large industrial buildings • Install and maintain fire pumps, valves, and pumphouse piping • Perform preventive maintenance on fire pumps and sprinkler alarm valves • Troubleshoot and resolve on‑site issues with carbon steel, ductile iron, and PVC pipework • Provide high‑level service to the construction management team while promoting health and safety

What You Bring

We require prior construction site experience and a qualification in fitting, plumbing, fabrication, or a related discipline, along with knowledge of pipework components and mechanical system operation. Experience with safety standards on large construction sites is essential. Desired qualifications include current Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Height, and MEWP training, computer literacy for online inductions, and experience in mechanical threading and grooving of pipework.
