About the Role

In this position you will lead and partner in strategic projects focused on New Product Development across North America locations. You will align with global and local commodity teams to select suppliers and leverage negotiated agreements, support cost management initiatives such as cost reduction, working capital optimization, on‑time delivery and quality, and coordinate and resolve issues with existing and new suppliers through collaboration with customers and internal partners. You will design and develop supply‑chain initiatives that create competitive advantage and improve responsiveness to customer demand. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field and preferably three or more years of experience in purchasing, supply‑chain, strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement or operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment. • Lead strategic New Product Development projects across North America. • Align with global and local commodity teams to select suppliers and use negotiated agreements. • Support cost‑management initiatives including cost reduction, working‑capital optimization, on‑time delivery and quality improvement. • Coordinate and resolve issues with existing and new suppliers in collaboration with customers and internal partners. • Design supply‑chain initiatives to gain competitive advantage and improve demand responsiveness. • Build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels, internally and externally. • Apply analytical, fact‑based problem‑solving and Lean manufacturing principles.

What You Bring

Strong project‑management skills, demonstrated negotiation ability, and the capacity to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels are essential. You must possess excellent analytical, fact‑based problem‑solving skills, be adaptable to rapidly changing business circumstances, understand Lean manufacturing principles and supplier performance assessment, and be able to travel 10‑30 % domestically and internationally. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field. • Possess 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply‑chain, strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement or operations, preferably in manufacturing. • Demonstrate strong project‑management skills to develop action plans, meet deadlines and manage cross‑functional teams. • Exhibit effective negotiation abilities to achieve business objectives. • Travel 10‑30 % domestically and internationally as required.
