About the Role
In this role you will plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects with moderate complexity, overseeing material, equipment, documentation, and team performance to achieve timely and profitable completion while supporting JE Dunn’s strategy, vision, and values. You will exercise autonomy within defined limits and report to a supervisor for decisions beyond that scope. • Lead safety culture, investigate incidents, and mentor staff for an injury‑free environment. • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and overall job workflow. • Develop and coordinate work plans, schedules, and project documentation. • Oversee material, equipment, and self‑perform operations, including formwork and tooling selection. • Conduct daily stand‑up, weekly trade, progress, and OAC meetings. • Track project budget, costs, and cost codes using project management software. • Ensure quality compliance through specifications, QA/QC processes, and inspections. • Support project close‑out activities, pre‑punch, and coordination with owners, architects, and authorities. • Identify and mitigate project risks, recommend solutions, and manage change orders. • Participate in project pursuits, negotiations, and buy‑out meetings with owners, architects, and vendors. • Recruit top talent and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team. • Apply Lean construction principles and utilize scheduling, accounting, and JE Dunn technology tools.

What You Bring
The position offers a clear career path to Superintendent 3 and requires a valid unrestricted driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lb, and flexibility for travel, relocation, and non‑traditional work hours to meet project needs. Physical activities include standing, walking, climbing, and occasional computer work. • Hold a high school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s in construction management preferred. • Minimum 5 years construction experience, including 3 years field supervision. • Valid unrestricted driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lb; willingness to work non‑traditional hours and travel as required.
