About the Role
A typical day includes pre‑site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment; problem‑solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, and district service teams; and completing field service reports, expense reports, preventive‑maintenance logs, and startup data sheets. The representative also works with managers or regional service directors to resolve complex escalated issues and engages in continuous learning and training on various products both in the field and in the classroom. On some days the role may involve regional or countrywide travel (including overnight) to support customers, assisting senior technicians and project managers on larger system start‑ups, collaborating with larger FSR teams on high‑complexity projects, and acting on behalf of the District Service Manager to resolve operational issues. • Perform equipment assembly, startup, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on power distribution and critical power systems. • Solve problems with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical support; complete field service and expense reports. • Travel regionally (including overnight) to support customers and assist senior technicians on large projects. • Maintain safety standards (lockout/tagout, NFPA‑70E/OSHA) and promptly report hazards.

What You Bring
Qualifications include an Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, military training, or comparable electrical‑related experience; ability to read blueprints and schematics; solid understanding of AC and DC power principles; and at least two years of field service repair experience with UPS systems, power distribution, switchgear, ATS, or related equipment. Candidates must follow safety procedures (lockout/tagout, NFPA‑70E/OSHA preferred), possess safe driving skills, be proficient with test and diagnostic equipment, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication in English. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 40 lb, working in extreme weather, confined spaces, and standing for extended periods. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and company digital tools, are also required. • Meet qualifications: Associate’s degree or trade certification, 2+ years field service experience with UPS/power equipment, ability to read schematics, and safe driving record. • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb, work in extreme weather, confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and company digital tools; strong written and verbal communication in English.

For this U.S.-based full‑time position, the compensation range is $66,000‑$99,000 per year, encompassing base pay and a short‑term incentive. Pay within the range is set based on performance, knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
