Procurement Analyst - Rail & Transit
Assist GDC with procurement, contracts, compliance, and documentation for the Hudson Tunnel Project.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The role provides procurement support, contract administration, documentation management, and process‑improvement reporting for the Hudson Tunnel Project, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining accurate records in the PMIS. • Assist GDC procurement personnel with solicitation, award, and management of HTP packages and professional services. • Conduct onsite procurement trainings and recommend professional development opportunities for staff. • Transfer procurement documents into the PMIS, ensuring compliance with GDC policies and regulations. • Perform cost estimating, pricing analysis, and vendor responsibility and financial capacity evaluations. • Administer contracts, support audits, invoicing, payments, change orders, and project close‑out activities. • Maintain accurate procurement records, assign document numbers, and manage change processes. • Identify process improvement opportunities and prepare reports on procurement activity and compliance.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain or a related field and have 2–5 years of procurement or contract administration experience on large infrastructure or transportation projects, with strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field. • Possess 2–5 years of procurement, contract administration, or supply chain experience on large infrastructure projects. • Familiarity with federal, state, and local procurement regulations and requirements. • Proficiency with PMIS, document control systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Preferred: public sector procurement experience, cost estimating, budgeting, and audit reporting.
