About the Role

As part of the Electrical Manufacturing team, you will help deliver reliable, high‑performance equipment for global customers, enabling safe and efficient operations across the energy industry. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in every build. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will emphasize quality and consistency as you assemble, solder, and inspect electronic components while supporting safe operations and daily production goals. Maintaining organized, ESD‑compliant workstations will be essential to meeting production schedules. • Assemble electronic components and wiring harnesses according to drawings • Perform precision soldering on SMT and through‑hole parts • Execute crimping tasks using manual or automated tools • Maintain safe, organized workstations with ESD compliance • Document production activities and report defects • Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets • Support inspections to ensure product quality • Coordinate with team members to improve workflow

What You Bring

You will join Baker Hughes' Oilfield Equipment – Controls team in Nailsea, where smarter systems are devised to control and support energy production. • Skilled in soldering and crimping • Able to read schematics and wiring diagrams • Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Basic computer skills for documentation • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience in electronics assembly or testing • Hands‑on soldering and crimping tool experience • Familiarity with IPC standards (certification preferred) • Ability to adjust daily schedule for productivity
