About the Role
The Site Quality Manager will lead on‑site QA/QC activities for utility‑scale solar projects, reporting to the Regional Quality Manager. This role implements the Site‑Specific Quality Plan, manages inspection teams, and serves as the primary quality liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulators. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with deep knowledge of solar PV, electrical infrastructure, civil and structural construction, and a commitment to continuous improvement. • Develop, implement, and manage the Site‑Specific Quality Plan (SSQP) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) in line with company policies, project specs, and industry standards (NEC, IEC, ASTM). • Conduct regular inspections and internal audits of civil, mechanical, and electrical installations, documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions are taken. • Identify, report, and manage nonconformances; lead root‑cause analysis and create corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans. • Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, generate quality metrics reports, and use SOLV’s “Sunscreen” software for inspection reporting. • Review subcontractor QA plans, audit their work, and verify that materials and equipment meet specifications. • Facilitate lessons‑learned meetings, provide feedback to engineering and procurement, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives. • Ensure all site activities comply with contractual requirements, manufacturer instructions, and relevant codes and regulations.

What You Bring
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in utility‑scale solar quality management; ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, OSHA 10/30 preferred. • Possess in‑depth knowledge of utility‑scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies. • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills. • Ability to travel frequently and work on remote project sites for extended periods.
