About the Role
The Sr. Maintenance Technician works the 2nd shift and is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties. The role requires responding immediately to emergencies, inspecting buildings and equipment for safety issues, maintaining fire and life safety systems, performing carpentry and snow removal, and using technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and building automation systems. The technician must also complete required safety training and adhere to the company dress code. • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing building systems, including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, grounds equipment, and HVAC. • Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices. • Install and modify building equipment and systems. • Replace and repair finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment. • Evaluate and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and cost‑saving opportunities. • Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests. • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventive maintenance. • Maintain and operate fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection equipment. • Perform carpentry tasks and snow removal as needed. • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, agency directives, and safe work practices. • Utilize technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web‑based applications, and building automation systems. • Complete all required C&W safety training annually. • Adhere to C&W uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance on and off duty.

What You Bring
Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience in a commercial property setting, and technical or vocational training in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry. A valid driver’s license, basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word, and the ability to work extended periods, shift work, and on‑call duties are also required. The position operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment and involves regular communication, computer use, moving around the workplace, standing for about 10% of the time, and extending arms in various directions. • Demonstrate competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance. • Technical proficiency, initiative, flexibility, multi‑tasking, sense of urgency. • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting. • Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair. • Valid driver’s license (commercial may be required) with a good driving record. • Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word. • Ability to work extended periods without relief, including overtime, shift work, and on‑call duties.

Benefits
Compensation is $22.95‑$27.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid leave. Pay complies with minimum wage requirements and may vary based on location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements.
