About the Role

At Arcus, cleaners are vital to keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe, working as part of a team to deliver sparkling results for customers. The role involves daily cleaning duties throughout the store and its exterior, using appropriate equipment and adhering to health and safety procedures, with full training provided. • Perform daily cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping, and operating machinery. • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and outdoor trolley bays. • Follow all health‑and‑safety procedures; full training provided.

What You Bring

We are recruiting a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Newhaven Harbour store on a fixed‑term basis, with an immediate start available. Applicants should have an eye for detail, a positive attitude toward cleaning and customer service, and must provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect app; the company also offers holiday, pension, insurance and career development benefits. • No prior cleaning experience required; eye for detail and positive attitude essential. • Must have an NFC‑enabled smartphone for Arcus Connect attendance recording.
