About the Role

• Propose optimal locations for navigational aids at multiple airports. • Review and evaluate AAI and consultant proposals for Navaid siting and installation. • Provide technical recommendations to improve Navaid performance and reliability. • Liaise with AAI and authorities for installation, relocation, and certification of Navaids. • Represent the employer in stakeholder negotiations to ensure timely project execution. • Coordinate with air traffic control, instrument approach designers, and airspace planners for integration. • Apply expertise in design, installation, calibration, maintenance, and certification of aviation navigation systems. • Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 10, DGCA/AAI Orders, and other relevant standards. • Conduct technical assessments to verify operational and safety requirements. • Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders. • Maintain accurate records of installations, calibrations, and certifications.

What You Bring

The role of Navigational Aids Expert involves leading the planning, review, and coordination of Nav Aid systems for multiple airports. The position requires deep technical knowledge of design, installation, calibration, maintenance, and certification, as well as expertise in ICAO Annex 10 and DGCA/AAI standards. • Hold a master’s degree in electrical, electronic, or communications engineering. • Possess 16+ years of aviation sector experience focused on navigational aids. • Demonstrated experience in design, installation, calibration, maintenance, or certification of Navaids. • Strong knowledge of Navaid siting and operational requirements at airports. • Expert knowledge of ICAO Annex 10 and DGCA/AAI Orders (preferred). • Familiarity with integration of Navaids with ATC procedures and airspace planning. • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison. • Proficiency with software tools used in Navaid design and calibration. • Proactive, solution‑driven, and able to lead teams under tight deadlines.
