About the Role
The position contributes to the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort, which provides leading‑edge SE&I for the Space Systems Center. Engineers help acquire state‑of‑the‑art satellite communications that deliver secure, survivable global connectivity for warfighters. • Create requirements verification documents, test plans, procedures, and evaluation criteria. • Update system engineering artifacts such as the System Integration and Test Plan, Systems Engineering Plan, and Systems Verification Plan. • Develop operational concepts, system requirements, and architecture, and assess requirement flow‑down and verification methods. • Establish and maintain test and evaluation data processes and integrate digital engineering tools. • Prepare technical materials for Integrated Product Teams and Technical Interchange Meetings, and track action items. • Review contractor integration deliverables and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine test approaches. • Deliver briefings that summarize analyses, technical recommendations, and integration strategies. • Identify technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain risk databases.

What You Bring
• Obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, math, computer science, or a related field. • Possess 3–5 years of systems engineering experience, including creating specifications, validating requirements, and performing system‑level analysis. • Have exposure to space systems and/or military satellite communications. • Demonstrate strong communication, writing, interpersonal, analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. • Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Hold a master’s degree in a technical discipline. • Experience with MILSATCOM programs such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, PTS, or COMSATCOM. • Experience working with military or DoD civilian partners. • Familiarity with satellite communications, ground terminals, or DoD networks. • Possess INCOSE ASEP/CSEP/ESEP or MBSE (OCSMP) certification. • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Benefits
The role is on‑site in El Segundo with minimal travel and standard working hours. Employees are expected to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Base salary ranges from $121,000 to $151,000 in California, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid time off and flexible work schedules.
