About the Role

The Machine Operator I is an entry-level position responsible for supporting daily production by operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment under close supervision. This role assists in loading programs, preparing machines, and performing basic maintenance tasks to ensure consistent and efficient operation. The position contributes to AAON’s production goals by maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and following established safety procedures. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. • Load production files and prepare machines per instructions. • Set up and adjust equipment for daily runs. • Monitor machine performance and report issues. • Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality. • Keep work area and equipment clean and organized. • Replenish required materials and consumables. • Collaborate with operators and team members to meet targets. • Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE. • Record production data and aid continuous improvement. • Lift and move objects up to 30 lb. • Stand, bend, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout shift. • Operate computer, mouse, and basic input devices. • Respond to visual and auditory machine indicators. • Work indoors in a manufacturing setting. • Comply with all company safety and operational policies.
