About the Role
In this role the operator will load outgoing shipments onto trucks, transport pallets from storage to the shipping area, and complete pick‑ticket orders using scanners and warehouse management software. They will read work orders or oral directions, handle materials safely, keep the dock area clean, and assist with cross‑training on other distribution‑center tasks. • Operate a forklift to load shipments onto trucks and move pallets within the warehouse. • Process pick tickets, full pallets, and shuttle pallets using scanners and warehouse software. • Follow work orders or verbal instructions to determine material and equipment needs. • Maintain a clean, debris‑free dock area and adhere to all safety guidelines. • Support cross‑training on additional distribution‑center functions.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 1‑2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, and be able to obtain a forklift certification. They should understand safety regulations, product handling, and basic distribution‑center procedures, and possess strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities. • Meet physical requirements: stand, walk, lift 10 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and 1‑2 years of forklift experience; obtain certification. • Demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations, product handling, and distribution procedures. • Exhibit strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
