About the Role
• Oversee daily operations of assigned projects. • Conduct turnover meetings between estimating and operations. • Lead kick-off meetings with field, shop management, and review specifications and scope. • Coordinate with drafting, project engineers, fabrication shop, and subcontractors to keep schedules on track. • Draft, log, and monitor change proposals weekly. • Manage submittal process and control log for each project. • Prepare monthly billings and pay applications; ensure timely collections. • Monitor job-site progress with field superintendent and project scheduler. • Track shop production, billing, and material/equipment deliveries. • Supervise safety practices with field superintendent and Safety Director. • Hold regular site walks, project manager, BIM, and shop foreman meetings. • Attend bi-monthly job cost and project review meetings, and bi-weekly labor forecast meetings. • Collaborate with vice presidents, operations managers, and purchasing to coordinate information and purchase orders. • Update control logs weekly and share with field superintendent. • Work with BIM department to meet drafting schedules and flag red-alerts. • Approve subcontractor and vendor invoices weekly. • Generate, track, and update RFIs and their status. • Support QA/QC on-site and oversee completion of OCIP/CCIP/ROCIP forms. • Prepare close-out documentation including as-built, O&M, and warranty letters. • Mentor and train project engineers.

What You Bring
The position is a full-time, day-shift role located in Round Rock, TX 78664. This is not a technical position; candidates must have knowledge of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. Applicants should preferably have three or more years of project-management experience, a background in commercial HVAC mechanical work, and construction experience. A BS in construction management, mechanical engineering, or architecture is preferred.
