Assist PM team on construction/implementation of energy efficiency projects for LAUSD schools.

About the Role
• Assist the Project Management Team with construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects in various facility types. • Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Managers. • Attend and participate in weekly construction meetings at project sites. • Organize and maintain project files, drawings, materials, and correspondence, including RFIs and submittals. • Issue bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules. • Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings. • Collaborate with internal functions to produce reports, presentations, documentation, and related project material. • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety standards and codes. • Observe vendors and subcontractors onsite while providing technical support. • Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties. • Gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related engineering discipline, or possess an equivalent blend of education and experience, and have exposure to large‑scale construction, upgrade, and retrofit projects for institutional, government, commercial, or industrial customers. Strong analytical abilities, proficiency with MS Office, Project, Procore, and Primavera P6, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. A valid driver’s license is required, and OSHA 30, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications are preferred. • Travel up to 50% as required by project needs. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. • Exposure to large‑scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits for institutional, government, commercial, and industrial sites. • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project. • Experience with Procore or other project management software. • Knowledge of Primavera P6 Enterprise. • Excellent verbal, written, technical communication and presentation skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively. • Valid driver’s license in good standing. • OSHA 30 certification (preferred). • CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens certification (preferred).
