About the Role

The Tower Foreman leads daily site construction work to meet production goals, ensures safety compliance with MasTec policies and industry standards, and oversees operations and quality at assigned sites. They maintain required paperwork, coordinate with customers, provide leadership and training to crew members, and validate timesheets. Additional duties include equipment maintenance, mentorship of less experienced technicians, and completion of structural modification welding tasks. • Lead daily site construction activities to achieve production goals. • Enforce MasTec Health Safety and Environmental policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Ensure site safety and oversee crew compliance. • Supervise daily operations and quality of work at assigned sites. • Maintain and submit required daily paperwork and closeout documentation. • Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain positive relationships. • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to crew members. • Keep equipment and vehicles operational. • Validate crew timesheets for management. • Perform structural modification welding tasks.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has at least five years of industry experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong record of safety and quality. They possess construction, rigging, and welding expertise, can read site plans and drawings, hold a valid driver’s license, and are physically fit to climb towers and handle up to 50 lb loads. Certifications such as WSA, First Aid, CPR, and various telecom qualifications are preferred. • Minimum 5 years of industry experience with industrial welding and structural modification. • High school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license meeting company policy. • Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW. • Physical ability to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours per day. • Knowledge of safety standards and possession of certifications (WSA, First Aid, CPR, etc.). • Strong organizational, computer (Excel, Word), and communication skills. • Ability to lead, teach, and enforce safe work practices.
