About the Role

The Business Development Strategist will support projects for data centers, aerospace, commercial real estate, and finance clients by coordinating outreach, leading proposal generation, and representing HDR in client meetings and industry events. The role requires strategic planning, organization of client development efforts, collaboration across internal teams, and the creation of marketing materials with minimal supervision. • Coordinate outreach and follow‑up activities for data center, aerospace, commercial real estate, and finance projects. • Lead proposal generation with subject‑matter experts and business development leads. • Represent HDR professionally in client meetings and industry events. • Organize and strategize new and existing client development efforts. • Collaborate with multiple internal teams on each opportunity. • Produce marketing materials and preliminary documentation with minimal supervision.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of relevant A/E/C industry experience. • Proven self‑starter with a track record of completing projects independently. • Deep knowledge of A/E/C procurement processes and win‑strategy development. • Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign. • Experience winning high‑value contracts and creating compelling technical content. • Preferred: branding experience, active SMPS membership, local candidate.
