About the Role
The Outside Plant Engineer supports all phases of utility construction for telecom projects, from design through installation. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, driving projects through scheduling, budgeting, and resource management, and conducting site walkouts and project meetings. What You Bring
Candidates need at least two years of telecom wireline construction experience, with a preference for fiber‑optic cable knowledge and familiarity with both fiber and copper distribution. They must be able to design aerial and underground construction best practices, read design prints, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing safety. Strong computer skills, teamwork, organization, and communication are essential. • Possess 2+ years telecom wireline construction experience. • Knowledge of fiber‑optic and other telecommunications cables. • Ability to design aerial and underground construction best practices. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and custom software tools. • Strong safety mindset with a record of high‑quality work. • Skilled at reading and interpreting fiber/copper design prints. • Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills.

The position offers a salary of $65,000‑$75,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
