About the Role

The incumbent will execute process engineering work for large‑ and medium‑sized LNG projects in accordance with applicable industry codes, standards and best practices. Key activities include licensor evaluation and selection, process modeling and simulation, and the development of heat, material and utility balances. The role also prepares process flow diagrams, safety flow diagrams, Safe Charts and P&IDs, defines the Basis of Design and system design parameters, and designs or rates equipment such as vessels, columns, heat exchangers and pumps. A broad range of process studies will be conducted, including process optimization, flare and relief system analysis, blow‑down and depressurization, vent system design, utility sizing, condensate handling and produced solids and water treatment evaluations. The engineer will actively participate in process safety activities such as HAZOP and HAZID and provide technical guidance on complex engineering issues that require independent analysis and professional judgment. • Execute process engineering tasks for large and medium LNG projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. • Lead licensor evaluation, process modeling, and develop heat, material, and utility balances. • Create process flow diagrams, safety flow diagrams, Safe Charts and P&IDs; define Basis of Design and system parameters. • Design and size process equipment such as vessels, columns, heat exchangers, pumps, and related systems. • Conduct process studies including optimization, flare/relief analysis, vent system design, utility sizing, condensate handling, and produced water and solids treatment evaluations. • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and other process safety assessments. • Provide technical guidance on complex engineering issues and make independent decisions. • Lead FEED projects, preferably in LNG, within a major EPC environment.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and possess eight to ten years of relevant process engineering experience, with a strong preference for LNG and FEED project leadership. Design engineering experience within a major EPC organization and proficiency with Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus and PipeSim are required. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with 8‑10+ years of relevant experience. • Proficient in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and PipeSim simulation tools. • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
