Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform welding repairs of piping, plant, equipment and fabricate skip buckets. • Conduct SMAW welding for fabrications and pipe work. • Weld for manufacturing and modification of gangways, cradles, yard equipment and sheet‑metal jobs. • Weld for modification of shiplift platform, STC platform, grating and rails. • Ensure safe usage of company equipment and tools while controlling material waste. • Maintain good working relationships with workers, foremen, supervisors and management. • Act as foreman for individual projects when required. • Verify material standards before use and report any damages. • Work within allocated timescales to meet department targets. • Attend required training activities for departmental duties. • Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
