About the Role
The Service Account Leader is responsible for driving labor and material growth, profitability, and execution of the service business across the assigned customer base. This includes managing customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, leading employee development and retention, and maintaining compliance with safety programs. Key duties involve setting and monitoring gross‑margin goals, expanding labor and material work through technicians and team leads, handling warranty‑related issues, and overseeing fleet and tool inventory. The leader also audits service delivery, approves quotations, manages budgeting and forecasting, and ensures staffing levels meet current and future business needs. • Lead service customer accounts, driving labor and material growth and profitability. • Manage customer relationships, ensure satisfaction, and resolve warranty-related issues. • Set and monitor gross‑margin targets, including planned service agreements and L&M work. • Oversee procurement and maintenance of fleet and tool inventory. • Supervise technicians and service staff, conduct audits, and ensure delivery consistency. • Prepare and approve all labor and material quotations. • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and accounts payable/receivable. • Maintain staffing levels, hire, train, and evaluate service team members. • Ensure compliance with safety programs and the Zero Harm policy.

What You Bring
Candidates must have technical school training or equivalent HVAC/building‑controls experience, at least three years of management experience in a service‑delivery setting, and strong prioritization, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Required competencies include written and verbal communication, basic financial accounting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a diploma in electronic or mechanical systems and five or more years of service‑management experience are preferred. • Require technical school training or equivalent HVAC/building‑controls experience. • Minimum three years of management experience in a service‑delivery environment. • Strong prioritization, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. • Basic financial accounting knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Preferred: diploma in electronic or mechanical systems; five+ years in service management.
