About the Role

The Financial Analyst role supports JLL's Market Solutions business within the West Region Finance Leasing team from a hybrid Chicago office. This position places you at the heart of critical financial operations, partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver reporting and analysis that drive strategic business decisions across the region. You will have exceptional growth opportunities in a collaborative environment, using your analytical skills to enhance financial performance and support leasing activities. The role contributes directly to financial planning, forecasting, month‑end processes, and the optimization of regional operations. • Execute month‑end close processes, including journal entries and variance analysis. • Manage Accounts Receivable and review Accounts Payable vouchers for compliance. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with accuracy. • Collaborate with business teams to monitor targets, support forecasting, and communicate results. • Analyze financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic insights. • Lead data entry, maintain reporting systems, and organize data collection. • Develop and implement efficient processes, including automation and simplification initiatives.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent with strong academic record. • 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting. • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, balance sheets). • Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities. • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Customer‑service orientation and adaptability. • Experience in commercial real estate, leasing or property management. • Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis. • Familiarity with ERP, reporting or business‑intelligence tools. • Experience collaborating with sales teams and senior leadership. • Understanding of AR/AP processes and best practices. • Background in process improvement, automation or workflow optimization.
