About the Role
• Support intermediate and senior planners on land‑use planning and community engagement projects for municipal clients across Ontario. • Conduct policy research on market trends, legislation, and jurisdictional frameworks. • Prepare technical documents, analytical reports, background studies, and planning recommendations. • Develop communication and engagement materials such as presentations, FAQs, fact sheets, and workbooks. • Synthesize stakeholder input and produce consultation summary reports. • Implement digital stakeholder‑engagement tools (websites, email marketing, apps, social media, video). • Assist in planning and facilitating stakeholder engagement events of varying size and complexity. • Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary staff and sub‑consultants to unify project deliverables. • Contribute to proposal writing and support client relationship growth in Ontario. • Manage time, quality control, troubleshooting, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. • Travel to Dillon offices and project sites for meetings and public events as needed. • Participate in professional associations and corporate committees.

What You Bring
Are you technically strong, collaborative, and a trusted advisor? The role seeks someone who enjoys entrepreneurship and innovation in a flexible, fast‑paced, agile setting, with excellent communication and business acumen. • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in planning from a PSB‑accredited program. • Eligible for full OPPI membership within three years of hire. • 1–3 years of professional planning experience in Ontario, preferably consulting. • Strong understanding of Ontario municipal and provincial land‑use policy frameworks (e.g., PPS, Growth Plan, Greenbelt). • Proven ability to conduct meaningful community engagement. • Excellent written communication and reporting skills adaptable to varied formats. • Critical and strategic thinking with high grammatical proficiency. • Highly developed interpersonal and facilitation abilities. • Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team. • Familiarity with graphic design software is an asset.
