About the Role
As an Assistant Project Manager you will support Project Managers in coordinating and supervising all phases of repipe and infrastructure projects, helping keep projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly. The role involves leading and supporting onsite teams, engaging closely with clients, managing tenant relationships, and adhering to safety protocols, with regional travel as needed. This full‑time exempt position reports to the Senior Project Manager or Division Manager and is an ideal stepping‑stone for someone with small‑scale construction or project coordination experience who wants to grow into a Project Manager role. • Assist Project Managers with day‑to‑day oversight of job site activities. • Coordinate plumbing, carpentry, and drywall crews to meet quality and safety standards. • Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and escalate concerns to the Project Manager. • Support scheduling, material tracking, and site logistics. • Communicate professionally with residents and clients to resolve questions or concerns. • Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation. • Transport materials between vendors and job sites as needed. • Build and maintain strong relationships with crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

What You Bring
• 1‑3 years of experience supporting construction crews, site operations, or project coordination. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast‑paced environments. • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. • Basic computer skills: email, internet, Word, and Excel. • Personal vehicle suitable for regular local and regional transport. • Ability to travel frequently and relocate for short‑ or long‑term projects. • Ability to regularly lift and carry 25‑50 lb. • High school diploma or GED.
