About the Role
The incumbent will oversee regular assistance visits, offer expert guidance to security managers, and help shape countermeasure strategies. They will also design and deliver classroom training, inspect contractors handling classified material, and assess program alignment with governing standards. Additional duties include analyzing security incidents, establishing metrics for trend monitoring, drafting policies for personnel security, and managing special information files. The role also involves reviewing program performance, supporting security managers, and carrying out tasks during contingency operations. • Conduct annual staff assistance visits for wing, installation, and associated units. • Provide technical guidance and advise on security process countermeasure strategies. • Develop and deliver classroom training for agency security managers. • Perform annual industrial inspections of contractors handling classified information. • Evaluate compliance of security programs with standards, policies, and instructions. • Analyze and report security violations; create metrics for trend analysis. • Draft guidance and policy for personnel security program implementation. • Review and submit personnel security investigations and manage special information files. • Review wing program performance and support personnel security managers. • Execute assigned duties during contingency operations.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least two years of experience managing wing‑level information protection, security, personnel security, and industrial security programs, be proficient with Microsoft Office, hold a state residence, and be eligible for a government driver’s license.
