About the Role
The Plant Accounting Manager supports plant operations financially by maintaining the general ledger, managing month‑end close, forecasting, budgeting, controlling inventory, and preparing regular reports for management. Reporting to the Category Controller, the role collaborates with headquarters finance teams, plant leadership, and other Masco locations, with success measured by cost per earned hour oversight, cycle count reliability, and avoidance of SOX control deficiencies. • Implement accounting policies ensuring Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance. • Manage month‑end close, financial reporting and variance analysis. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting and reporting for labor, overhead, scrap and capital. • Partner with operations to provide financial support for improvement initiatives. • Monitor overhead spending, labor efficiency and cost drivers to identify savings. • Deliver timely and insightful financial reports to plant management and HQ. • Coordinate cycle‑count and inventory control programs, including reconciliations.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, with a CPA or CMA preferred, and have three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP ERP are advantageous, along with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or CMA preferred. • Possess 3–5 years of manufacturing accounting experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP (preferred). • Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills. • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
