Job Highlights
About the Role
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with front, side, or rear‑end lift attachments to transport waste, recyclables, or roll‑off containers to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. They perform pick‑up services for containers that can exceed 1,000 lb, navigate high‑traffic roadways, alleys, driveways, and lots, and must execute skilled backing maneuvers in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. • Operate vehicles in compliance with WM Safety, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and submit DVIR reports. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or service issues immediately to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and share best practices. • Communicate customer requests and service interruptions to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and check‑out procedures. • Assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs. • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, and sitting throughout the shift. • Maintain safe and reliable operation of vehicles and equipment at all times.

The position offers a base pay range of $23.68 to $28.00 per hour, a yearly boot allowance of $300, and a comprehensive benefits package.
