Project Scheduler - Defence & Security
Project Scheduler managing construction schedules for UK defence projects.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Review and analyse complex construction schedules, providing opinions, advice and reports on project progress and predictions using scheduling software. • Manage the Integrated Master Schedule. • Visit active construction projects, assess work progress, and confirm alignment with the schedule and project records. • Advise clients on actual progress and related cost implications. • Develop potential recovery plans for time and cost. • Review and analyse construction claims, offering opinions and reports on contractual entitlement and damage quantification for dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation, arbitration, litigation). • Develop and maintain project schedules with industry‑standard software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject) applying Critical Path Method for controls, tracking and delay analysis. • Prepare reports, charts and graphs to support and present analysis.

What You Bring
• Demonstrable experience in a scheduling role. • Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills. • Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels. • Capability to work to tight deadlines. • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project. • Familiarity with NEC contracts. • Experience in Defence and Security, government or other major projects (desirable). • In‑depth knowledge of built assets and infrastructure. • Ability to obtain BPSS clearance. • Ability to obtain SC clearance.
