About the Role
Key responsibilities include collaborating with supervisors and technicians to reduce or prevent equipment downtime, mentoring staff to increase knowledge and productivity, and identifying critical skill gaps to establish effective training methods. The role also involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, logical, hardware, software, and network issues, providing around‑the‑clock support when available, procuring necessary parts and tools, motivating the maintenance team to complete tasks promptly, and assisting in creating an organized spare‑part inventory. • Reduce or prevent equipment downtime by collaborating with supervisors and technicians. • Mentor supervisors, technicians, and operators to boost knowledge and productivity. • Identify critical skill gaps and implement training methods to enhance performance. • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, logical, hardware, software, and network issues. • Provide 24/7 support to maintenance personnel when available. • Procure necessary parts and tools for the maintenance team. • Motivate the team to complete tasks promptly. • Assist in organizing an effective spare parts inventory. • Utilize Salvagnini software (Syscon, Maintenance Manager, Easydata, WMS, IMAS) and IPG Photonics equipment. • Safely lift and move objects up to 50 lb and stand/walk for most of the shift. • Work safely on lifts and at heights around industrial equipment.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess an associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field combined with five years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Essential mental functions include the ability to manage people, communicate effectively, share and expand knowledge, and apply basic computer skills with the MS Office Suite, as well as foundational electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with Salvagnini software (Syscon, Maintenance Manager, Easydata, WMS, IMAS) and IPG Photonics equipment is also required. The position demands physical capabilities such as lifting and moving objects up to 50 lb, standing or walking for up to 95 % of the work shift, and safely working on or around industrial equipment, including lifts at heights.
