About the Role
You will develop digital tools, data infrastructure and BI outputs, work independently and within an agile development team, and follow a structured lifecycle from requirements to post‑implementation support, while attending training and keeping your industry knowledge up to date. Mace welcomes diverse candidates, offers flexible, hybrid working options, and encourages inclusive collaboration. • Design and maintain SQL databases and data warehouses in Microsoft Azure and Fabric. • Build and orchestrate data pipelines using ELT/ETL and medallion architecture. • Develop data integration solutions with tools and best‑practice lifecycle methods. • Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for reliable deployments. • Write code in SQL, Python, PowerShell, DAX and M. • Apply agile practices to deliver data engineering tasks. • Work independently while collaborating with Digital Centre of Excellence members. • Ensure BI teams have timely access to required data for project activities. • Follow a structured development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment and support. • Participate in training, knowledge‑sharing sessions and self‑directed learning. • Apply sound data modelling, security and version‑control practices. • Manage deliverables to meet time and quality expectations in a consultancy environment. • Support BI and data analytics platforms where needed. • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. • Share knowledge, mentor peers and challenge the status quo.

What You Bring
• Hold at least 2 years’ data engineering experience, including 1 year on Microsoft cloud stack. • Possess recent hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (highly desirable). • Hold DP‑600 or DP‑700 Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer certification. • Use Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Office 365) effectively. • Communicate clearly in English, both written and verbally, and present findings professionally.
