About the Role

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Asia by leveraging market intelligence and industry trends. Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including engineering, project management, and service teams—to deliver tailored solutions. Represent Johnson Controls at marine trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings while maintaining accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and CRM records. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic sales plan targeting Naval new‑build contracts, and positioning Johnson Controls as a trusted partner through strong relationships with shipyards, naval architects, vessel owners, and operators. You will ensure all activities comply with relevant marine regulations and Johnson Controls’ quality standards. Accurate management of sales forecasts, pipeline data, and customer records using CRM tools is essential. • Develop and execute strategic sales plan for Naval new‑build contracts in APAC. • Build and nurture relationships with shipyards, naval architects, vessel owners and operators. • Promote Johnson Controls’ HVAC, fire safety, security and integrated control solutions. • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data and CRM records. • Ensure compliance with marine regulations and Johnson Controls quality standards. • Travel 20‑30 days annually to client sites across the region.

What You Bring

We seek a self‑motivated professional who excels both independently and within a team. The ideal candidate has a proven B2B sales track record in the marine, shipbuilding, or maritime equipment sectors, extensive international sales experience focused on Defence new‑build projects, and a deep understanding of naval ship ecosystems, procurement cycles, and technical requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills are required, along with a technical background in HVAC, fire safety, security or automation (preferred). A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, fluency in English (additional languages a plus), and proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce are essential. • Proven B2B sales track record in marine/shipbuilding or maritime equipment. • International sales experience focused on Defence new‑build projects. • Strong knowledge of naval ship procurement cycles and technical requirements. • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills. • Technical background in HVAC, fire safety, security or automation (preferred). • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; fluent English; CRM (Salesforce) proficient.
