About the Role
The Production Scheduler for Custom Switchboards ensures that custom switchboard builds run like clockwork. You will own the workshop schedule, align components with build dates and keep dispatch timelines clear and accurate for customers. • Run the workshop schedule (minimum 6‑week view) balancing capacity and maintaining consistent load planning. • Provide accurate estimated dispatch dates for custom distribution boards and keep internal systems up‑to‑date. • Coordinate with Global Supply Chain to secure parts, forecast usage and proactively address shortages. • Ensure BOM accuracy by working with the Order Entry team and maintaining data in SAP. • Organise end‑to‑end delivery bookings and resolve warranty claims, damaged goods, lost items and special deliveries with courier partners. • Maintain clear, professional communication with GCR Order Entry, Project Coordinators, workshops and external partners. • Follow company HSE standards and governance, supporting a safe, continuous‑improvement culture.

Hands‑on with SAP & BOMs—turn planning skills into supply chain mastery. Work across sales, supply chain & workshop—be the hub everyone trusts. Use SAP + Excel daily—own BOM accuracy, dates and component readiness. Success in this role is measured by high schedule accuracy, reliable dispatch dates, stock/BOM accuracy and on‑time delivery, as well as positive feedback from internal stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of ERP experience in scheduling, BOM or dispatch (SAP, BFO, Macro), a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain, advanced Excel skills and the ability to learn new software quickly, plus excellent planning, attention to detail and English communication. • Prioritise work with BPS/SCRR workshop teams, flag risks early and communicate delays to sales, customers and project coordinators. • 2–3 years of ERP experience for scheduling/BOM/dispatch (e.g., SAP, BFO, Macro). • Strong manufacturing/production/supply chain understanding. • Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new software quickly. • Excellent planning, attention to detail, and communication in English.
