About the Role
As a Lead Field Project Engineer you will be the technical reference for site teams and customers, managing project scope and promptly resolving technical issues. You will troubleshoot heavy‑duty and aeroderivative gas turbines, motor‑driven centrifugal compressors, gearboxes and auxiliary systems, while coordinating with customer representatives, vendors and multi‑functional teams on customized evaluations and optimisation studies. You will also oversee engineering lessons‑learned, root‑cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, manage field engineering modifications, change orders, document control, non‑conformities and FMEA execution, and lead quality processes to meet critical site milestones and KPIs. Travel to sites will be required to collect data and support issue resolution. • Serve as technical reference for site teams and customers, managing project scope and resolving technical issues. • Troubleshoot heavy‑duty gas turbines, aeroderivative turbines, motor‑driven centrifugal compressors, gearboxes and auxiliary systems. • Coordinate with customers, vendors and cross‑functional teams for custom evaluations and optimisation studies. • Manage engineering lessons learned, root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Oversee field engineering modifications, change orders and document control, including non‑conformities and FMEA. • Lead quality processes, track critical site milestones and key performance indicators. • Travel to sites as needed to collect data and support issue resolution.

What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related engineering, at least seven years of technical experience on rotating machinery and three years in project engineering or management of large projects. Knowledge of Baker Hughes or equivalent OEM products such as heavy‑duty and aeroderivative gas turbines or centrifugal compressors, strong English communication, presentation skills and the ability to influence and lead small teams are essential. Flexibility to travel to different sites is also required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related engineering. • Minimum 7 years of technical experience on rotating machinery and 3 years in project engineering/management. • Knowledge of Baker Hughes or equivalent OEM products such as HDGT, aeroderivative turbines, or centrifugal compressors. • Strong English communication and presentation skills; ability to influence and lead small teams. • Flexible to travel to various sites.
